La Muccheria is an old farm where, as the original name indicates, cattle were husbanded to produce the milk for the small district of San Carlo. Given its splendid location, in 1986 it was restored and transformed into a home which to this day, and only three kilometres from the beach, enjoys so much peace and quiet, breathtaking sunsets over the sea, a variety of walks or genuine hiking in the vast Mediterranean woodlands which surround it. Its location, 150m above sea level, ensures a peaceful and refreshing breeze throughout the holiday season and a natural absence of mosquitoes. The apartments (sleeping 2 or 5) are all composed of a living room with an adjoining corner kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a covered and furnished veranda facing onto the swimming pool or the hills Great care has been taken over the interiors, with every item selected individually giving the impression of a lovingly furnished home, reflecting the warmth and comfort of the typical Tuscany tradition. The large garden which surrounds the house is well stocked with typical Mediterranean plants and offers spaces to be enjoyed by all the family, with many quiet nooks for those who want settle down to a peaceful read. A large swimming pool with solarium and comfortable pool built for the little ones enables guests to swim and sunbathe without having to move. In the world of agro-tourism, La Muccheria finds itself right at the top in terms of quality of welcome, comfort, space and tranquillity. La Muccheria is open throughout the year. The minimum period is two nights (although not in high season) with prices to be defined. There is a large swimming pool (16x8x1m,40h) and a small children's pool (3x6 x0m,50h), garden games, and table tennis. Including in the price are bed linen, bath and kitchen towels, which are changed weekly, final cleaning and utilities. Excluded from the price are heating utilities during the seasons when they are necessary. On request, it is possible to have cleaning carried out during the week, additional linen changes, and a baby-sitting service.
